We partner with SEM (Southeastern Ecumenical Ministry) to provide dinner and ministry to the barn workers at Belterra Race Track. SEM is an organization consisting of 16 churches of 8 denominations. Throughout the horse racing season, the churches of SEM take turns providing dinner one night a week to the barn workers. The workers are often migrant workers without reliable access to food or meals. After dinner, volunteers have the opportunity to worship with the chaplain and the workers. Currently, we provide a meal 3 times each season. Our remaining dates for this season are July 30 and August 27, 2024.
